Yes, thats the article.. I am going to re-write a general overview of it in non-scientific terms for my website.. well any PDF/scientific articles I am finding with good info like that will be re-written in hobbyist terms..

She studied gestation periods, etc.. but she also noted she observed maternal care by parents of stingrays in the wild. They would stay near the fragile and exposed juvenile, rather than leaving it, and have it follow them to food sources.![]()
