They are illegal although that is the case, it doesn't mean that they are not available especially in California where a lot of Asian people are into "exotics" meaning hot and expensive fish.

The more i get into Monster Fish the more it seems like I am uncovering a "darker" side to fish keeping. Everyone of my lfs has at least one guy that knows someone that can get you just about anything. I have also heard that they get snake heads quite often.
