Rays Legal in Arizona?

I'm buying a house in Arizona and want to know if Sting Rays are legal in this state?
 
that's so f***ed up in the USA
in holland we can have any fish we want !
but here's is the temperature much colder !
is that the reason why many states in america have forbid some fish ?
because if they get to big people dump the fish in rivers ?? and in your climate they will suvive.. in holland NOT
but many times there are found piranha's,big cats and turtles here in the lakes and rivers :p

so please tell me why they are illegal ?

Yeah someones going to drop a $100 on a fish and dump it in the river, because it got 'too big'..

Pacus and Oscars should be illegal, not Stingrays.
 
okay. I live in az. what would happen to me if I bought a sting ray?

thats bs that so many other people can have them, but not us here in az.

I WANT ONE!
 
IMO, from reading the laws and regulations, it is NOT illegal to "keep" such fish. BUT, it is illegal to purchase, transport, breed, or sell them so good luck first off buying one and then getting it home. And then if you ever want to sell it, good luck transporting somewhere to sell it because you cannot sell it in AZ. And if you had a pair that bred, oh lord.
 
fine, possible jail time... they mainly go for sellers that sell to such states.. however the best thing for u...if you do have pet stingrays would be to NOT TELL ANYONE
They do check threads like this.. and can trace them
 
okay... could you keep a freshwater ray with just a miniscule amount of salt?
so if trouble ever came, you could call it a brackish tank?
