Yes. But not for a week or more. The female can go when she's eating, and hopefully she'll color up soon, but the Male needs to heal up. The "nips" he got were worse than they originally looked, but he'll still be fine I think. But they were full-on BITES. I'm keeping salt in the water, and I'mm keep a close eye on him.

I'm on my way down to get more pics right now. It's amazing how different these look, but I think it answers the question of where the crazy patterns come from. Looks like they come from my Male. I knew he was a special one!

Ok, here they are. The female does look a little less "bland" after just 1 day, and the male still shows the same pattern, but the bite marks look worse today. My fault for not separating the momma, or at least getting down there at daybreak. I was starting to give up on her even being pregnant.

My new pool has better provisions for dividing and separating.

And back to the Tilapia- these have grown another inch in the last couple weeks since I posted the last pic of them. They are now in a 110g stock tank and about 3".
