Rays on a budget- My (somewhat long) story w/pics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
mike they are beautiful, are u QTing them or are they going right in with ur others? who are you wanting to breed them with? cant wait to see theirpups

Mike Already treated them and assured me that they could go right in with the other female that he sent..so the 3 Leos are together, and they are getting along just fine.

I'll breed them with anything I can! LOL... But their Claspers are very small right now...which is why I wanted to get the males now instead of more females.

Really wish I had the other male still...he was almost ready to breed.

Beta testers needed for Stingray-specific predator food. Some rules apply.

I need a few people that keep rays to volunteer for a free sample, and the criteria are as follows.

1) Must have multiple rays
2) Rays must be trained on some type of pellet (I can't afford to give away enough food to train them)
3) Must be someone who purchases a commercial type pellet such as Massivore or other.
4) Must be someone who would be interested in a nutritionally complete food that is cost effective.
5) I'll need $3 or so for shipping. This is all out of my own pocket.

There are a couple people here also that don't have Rays, but who have other predator fish. So, I'll accepty a couple of extras if the right people are interested...but please let me know what you are keeping. Although this is formulated for rays, the taste will be the same when other versions are made.

Anyone interested, please send me a PM and I'll explain a few other details as well as all of the main ingredients.

Thanks,
Mike

BTW- This is NOT a pellet food. It's intended to be better than that.

is this the fish cookies you were talking about? does it need to be frozen or can it just be kept in a container or bag like other pellets?

Yes, this is a version of the "cookies" I was talking about.

they are intended to be stored in a sealed container..but I don't add any preservatives, and they are a bit moist...So until they are made on a contract with a verified shelf-safe moisture content, I recommend refridgeration.

Mike

That will come with the final product. I don't have that equipment here...But the final product will likely be vacuum sealed and say "refridgerate after opening"

Mike
