what size tank is needed for a stingray..i plan on getting a teacup ray within a week or so..just need a little more in fo on them...how do u do a water change with a ray in the tank if u use a siphon...don't want to get bit

Read the stickys in the stingray section. That should answer a lot of your questions. If you have more specifc questions after that feel free to ask:D

Oscar, don't worry about being bitten worry about being stung. You realy don't even need to worry about that. Just be aware of where your ray is when you clean the tank. Also you just clean it like you would any other tank. If you insist on getting a "teacup" then absolutely make sure it eats at the store and make sure you can't see any bones sticking out on either side of the base of its tail and make sure it isn't sunk in between its eyes. And take your time acclimating the ray, use the drip system and take at least two hours dripping it. Minimum size tank is a 180 gallon. Good luck!!!!

Do lots more research before you throw your money away. If you are afraid of being 'bit' by a ray, you have alot of reading to do.

Read as many books as you can and get on with it, people don't become experts by being put off by other people. Things are only difficult if you don't know how to do them, once you know how to do them they are easy! Get on with it and good luck.
