What signs should I look for to know if a female stingray is pregnant?

im not shure if they acctualy get prgnate i think they lay eggs but if the female is about to lay eggs she should be really fat and eating alot more than normal ....but im not shure if they lay eggs or what but i know its ultra rare for them to breed in hme aquaria

Rays are live born. If she is holding pups, the rear 1/3 of her will start to dome up at either side of the base of her tail. Also, look for signs of breeding. If she's been bred with, she'll have the marks on her from the male copulating with her.

unless the ray is bigger than 12inch for a hystrix i dont think she will be pregnant
