aside from parasite problem, feeder goldfish also contains thiaminase which is an enzyme that destorys thiamine (vitimin B1) which is not good for your rbps growth.

i aggree with the tilapia too but they murdered my 1+ foot gar in a 800 gal pond
they can be pretty aggressive i actually took 2 tilapias from my dads pond same size as my reds and at that point the tilapias were bullying the reds

stress may affect their growth right? so i took em out
and man it was hard
