How many RB Piranhas in this tank?? So my uncle and I are planning on building 2 plywood aquariums mine will probably be about (lxwxh) 72x24x18 (inches) how many RBP's can go in this tank and are these dimentions good for RBP. The gallons in the tank will be ~135 gallons.

Thanks

i wouls say about 8-10 adults with really good filtration
and up to 14 sub adults

ok the tank will have a 30-40 gallon sump and a 100 gallon rated canister

I agree. 8 adults should do good. It all depends on the size of the RBPs....

1 piranhs 30 g. then addintonal 20 g. per fish after that. . . . . i'd say 7 - 10

7-10? thats a large gap...I think you read too much books and havent experience this situation before

Having up to 10 adults reds could potentially stunt there growth, and image the stress they'll have wow, great adive pevine.

like i said 6-7 adult reds should be enough

um ive heard of someone having 15 piranhas in a 200 gall so i tink it would be okay! :D

yea so great advice mike!!! and atleast you read stuff on fish before you make yourself look like a retard by posting stuff you dont know anything about...
