Have 4 RBP's 2 at 6 1/2" and 2 close behind has anyone ever introduced another spiecies into a tank that has not been feeders for ths spiecies,,,, hav herd ppl can put in plecs ! if so what sort and how big?

I have RBP too and I've put in 3 plecos and all have been eaten.....I have one in now and hes still alive for a little....I also have a crab in mine and it has gone good. He helps alot eat all the left overs the piranha dont eat.

ive seen them with oscars, cats (duno which type butit was black with a white stripe down the side) plecs and cichlids not a good idea because you run the risk of them getting eaten but it you have a big enough tank they might be better off some people say that it stresses them out look in the piranha section alot on this

i kept my pygos with plecos but you may have missed the boat now the reds are big.
i introduced mine when the pygos were small and the pleco was 4 times bigger.

I put a oscer with mine and it was a fine dinner.
I also put a jack dempsy in and the rbp bitc# up and form a tight schole and it lived
in the tank for a week. I removed.Alive and in tac.

you never know what they will eat and leave alone. the black cat with a white stripe was probably a rapheal catfish. i have a 7 in rapheal and a 12 in pleco in with my 4 rbp that are about 3.5 in long but they were put in the tank together. so the chances of adding anything now that they are that big are very slim.
