I use to be huge into RC, both boats and cars. Back in the late 80's my Dad and I were in a RC boat club and use to race every month at club races. Have very found memories of doing that with Dad. Then I got into Rc cars in the late 80's. Had a bunch of ones like the Grasshopper, Hornet, Fox, RC10, and enjoyed those. I got out of it for a couple decades and then got back into them again years ago when the Tmaxx came out. Owned a Tmaxx, Emaxx, and being a former Tig welder by trade I hand built my own tube chassis clod buster which was extremely cool and a real blast. Also did airbrushed bodies for people for a few years for other people and was really into the hobby.

I got out of it about 15 years ago. Not that I stopped enjoying it, I still would because I love Rc cars/trucks. Mainly got out of it because it's not a cheap hobby by any means and between all my passions (fly fishing, aquariums, bonsai, muscle cars etc etc) I just had too many expensive hobbies. Would like to get back into Rc trucks again some day though, I always had fun with those.
