RD/JD/JAGUAR/FLOWERHORN IN 1 AQUARIUM

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'll try to find a pic, but I had that combo in my 125 last year along with a female festae. I guess in my avatar you can see two of them. That was when I first introduced the jag. Once the festae won there was peace. It really depends on the fish as usual.

Here is a tank shot of mine that worked great!

That's a beautiful festae you have there. As for the tank a 6x2x2 is a good size but when they reach adulthood there could be mayhem. Buy them all at about 3-4" and your chances of success are improved. I bought an adult vieja zonata and within a day he started trying to kill all my fish.

400? 4 fish all stay under 18" why would so many gallons be needed for these four fish?

cuz lets say you have a 100 gallon with just one of these fish, my mag and flowerhorn could easily break a tank just from hitting the sides when my dog walks by the tank......im about to change over to acrylic btw.....and if you had 2 of these large fish you really should have more than 100 gallons each.....alot of my friends keep flowerhorns in 55's but they have NO ROOM

also if you ever did have 3 large fish in the 125.......imagine when they all start swimming hard......thats alot of pressure...

Same could be said for four male guppies....Thats all I'm sayin...

wow...iv bred guppies along with convicts to use as feeders.....and its not the same when one of these fish hits maturity the others are dead unless they breed......even then its a watching game to make sure they dont beat each other during courting

Large tank but of course sooner or later there will be a murder or 2!

I have a 150g with a RD, 2 Jags, Salvini, FH, Oscar and a couple of cons its been ok so far but i have a feeling it wont be too long before someone decides to have a proper go at the RD and gets wacked.
