can anyone help me sex my rd? no pics but is there anything i can look for?

the only thing besides venting to look for is body shape, males will be larger and bulkier and "higher bodied" while females will have a slimmer look to them but with these guys the best way is to catch it and flip it over and look at its private areas, if the holes are different sizes then its a female and if they are both small then its a male

yup lol, there will be two and in males will both be small, just be sure to look at the actual hole size as one of them has like a lighter colored opening around the actual hole making it look bigger but if its female the actual physical hole part will be bigger cus thats the one the eggs come out of, i think its the one closer to the anal fin but i dont really remember i haven't had to vent in awhile lol

cool, one last question. is there proper way to vent my fish? really appreciate the help too

just catch it in a net and take it out and flip it over, will be fine for long enough for you to get a good look and then plop em back in. they will be a bit stressed from the ordeal but if they are nice and healthy then they should get over it quickly enough
