Just need to know how sensitive they are to salt? Cause Im pretty sure he has ich atm...going to use guppies way of treating him. Thanks.

With ICH, the only thing I do is change the water more often, and sometimes (note the sometimes) raise the temp, and feed well.
Personally I find that a fish's natural defenses will overcome the parasites when in top health, rather than changing the environment itself (the temp, etc.) But most fish tolerate a small amount of aquarium salt.

Well he has about 10 or so white spots on him and ill probably be doing a 3-4 wc's a week till its gone. Hes in pretty good shape, very active and eating lots of guppies :D hopefully he can overcome it.

if he's behaving normally, eating, etc... then you've caught it early. Good going

What temperature should I raise the water to? I have it ussually sitting at like 78 farenheit.

82 should be good

My pleasure

One more thing...wont heating up the temperature to 82 degrees just speed up the life cycle of the ich? Is that temp sufficient to destroy them?

The salt kills the Ich...the temperiture increase just speeds up the cycle...Ich is only vernirable in the larval stage. We ususlly bump the temp up to 88...
