So i couldnt get through the whole video, it was just too painful...

However, from what i did see, it seems this guy wants to do the least amount of maintenance and planning as possible, while doing things on a whim...

When he talked about decorating his tanks and said “do i have to plan my tanks before i add water” spoke volumes to me...

Then the feeding part i was like okay im done... since he obviously doesnt really know what the hell he actually wants from his fish, or maybe he likes the look of oscars but doesnt really like their personality which is why he also stated that he’ll buy them then regret the purchase knowing full well what hes getting into...
I research an unfamiliar fish that am interested in thoroughly before I purchase it. I didn't always and on occasion that something I would have to accommodate for.

Alright, can we all please keep the conversations civil going forward and try not to start a war with one another over our opinions...
Hello; There is a tradition of holding grudges among members on this site. The same members go at each other over and over again on most any thread. I have come to know that a few can not tolerate me and they take most every chance to get a dig in. (Don't tell but it is possible I did the same sort of thing. I just have conveniently forgotten for a few moments.)
There are number of members whom I will defend vigorously when I can just because I have decided that I like them. It helps when they make good points. There are a few others, had I the power to do so, that I would ban outright. The guy who wished a dog would maul me comes to mind.

Here is an often made suggestion the last few years. If someone calls a name or in some other way goes against site rules deal with the individual and do not shut down a thread. I do not know the range of technical options you mods have in a thread but have seen that you have a good amount of control. Don't do the warnings over and over just ban a day for each violation or highlight a post in red and say it is out of bounds for all to see. Take points away in some manner or something I can not think of.

Some time ago I took the warnings to heart and have worked at stating my opinions without getting nasty (well too nasty anyway) I also try to not use names . (That backfired on me once. I stated I would not be name calling to a member and they decided that statement was just like name calling.) However much I have cleaned up my act way too many threads just get closed or locked because of some other members language. In fact that appears to be a strategy used by some when their opinions are losing in a thread. They just throw in some off color language or comments and shut down their foes along with a thread.

I wrote too many paragraphs and now need a nap.

Yeah so I give them pellets and some frozen and live food, I also hear some people feed theirs fruits and vegetables, though I haven't tried it
Boyd is great. Have you fed them peas? Mine luvum. Frozen. Helps clean out their gut.

I troll shamelessly, with grotesque baits and lures.
Then when I hook one, I reel 'em in and *WHACK* . . . into my net.
Then I freeze them alive, cut them up later, and eat them hot from the skillet.

Anything I do to my Oscar is a blessing by comparison. He'd live longer in a sewer than any Bass or Trout in my clutches!
