Some fish are worth money. I full grown midas is not one of them. I have also given quite a few fish away for free. You'll be lucky to be able to pay someone to take that fish. You can ask money for it and you might get it, but if you're serious about finding him a good home, offer him up for free

My point is that your friend should be taking care of this not you. If I had a friend going through the trouble of keeping a pet that I could no longer take care of I would try to find it a home myself and not have the other person doing it for me. Let him try to sell it on craigslist if not find a good home for it and give it away. You may end up having to eat it though

give the fish away for free and when he *****es, punch him in the face.
