If he isn't mature, he is awful close. All you can do is try the reintroduction. Use the divider as
a means for them to interact without getting at one another at first and see what happens. then go
for it. Maybe with the divider it will stimulate her into the breeding cycle and they will mate once
the divider is removed. At that point usually aggression will ease once they have copulated.
On a side not, where did you get those long gripper or jaw like things, I need a pair.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I decided to leave the smaller female where she is.
SS, I got the tongs at the lfs. They also come with an attachment for clipping plants.
