Now here's an idea. What about a true Texas Cichlid; Herichthys cyanoguttatus ??? What attracts you to the carpintis??

I like both species. I've kept carpintis and H. Deppi. Never had the opportunity for cyano.

I am slightly colorblind and i really like the saturation of color you get with certain locales of carpintis, like rio hondo. i think they look blue but i've heard them called green in the past.
