Personally I like the black sand, but if you're set on changing. I'd go with the pfs. I definitely prefer sand over gravel now.

Not any interest in other colors, like Colorquartz?

I love your black substrate :( but i understand that you look at it everyday and are ready for change! I vote for the pea gravel

bare bottom :)

not an option... I have a sump under the tank and it has waterspotted the bottom of my tank so bad... Bare bottom looks terrible on this tank... I have bare bottom on my other tank and love it. BUt it has a black bottom.

I do too, but i will keep it and go back to it one day, just like a change.

Really leaning to gravel

I'd go with the pool filter sand.

I really wanted tile, but it is a glass tank with overflows... I am not sure how i could get it to look good around the boxes and the silicone? The tiles need to sit flat.

I will eventually tile my acylic tank that my female motoro chewed up
