I am so frustrated right now. I work hard to keep my tanks up. You know the drill regular water changes, filter maintenance etc. It's a great hobby and I love seeing my fish thrive. But everytime I decorate my tanks the DAMN fish dig up the rocks, knock over rocks and generally move stuff around.

I have given up! However they want their tanks to look is fine with me. I think I'm going to take everything out and just go with substrate.

:grinno:

Cichlids redecorate.its what they do.relax and get used to it.
Or get guppies, they never move the rocks.;)

Have you talked to them about it? Don't raise your voice, it just makes matters worse.

What would you do in a 6'x8'x6' box 24/7/365 if you didn't have thumbs? :D

Sounds like a challenge to me! more weight on the plant and silicone stuff in place.

Or paint the outside of the glass and drive them crazy for a change!

Bare bottom tank with a mirror under it can be funny too.

Good luck and they say basket weaving is good therapy too.

The post was supposed to be a joke. Just with an eye catching title. Although I did spend the weekend redecorating tanks that they have all redecorated again. WOOOOOO SAAAAAAAAA!!! (rubbing ear lobes)

Don't do bare tanks, it's cruel if you ask me. Just let them do as they please, it's their home after all.

Would you like to live in this room?

That looks like my first apt. Lived in it for 1.5 yrs.

lol!My Oscar tanks look so nice right after I put all their plants and sand back where it's 'supposed' to be....right up until they flog them all over again an hour later. Try to appreciate their decorating skills and be glad their healthy and active enough to want to do their own interior design.
