^ yeah, I'm not clear about the last step either.
Is it just: remove from fryer & shake.. they should already be however crispy you want/aka "charred"... let sit one minute or more, then put the sauce on & eat? (and, apparently, do not broil or grill with the sauce on?)
I'm so used to browning some sauce on.
Charring is grilling w/ the sauce on, i figured that was a given haha. I forget im one of the only people who make so many wings so often haha
After theyre done cooking in the oil let them sit for at least one minute BEFORE saucing them, then do whatever you'd like. What do you mean by broil?
We also will sauce them w/ medium sauce and toast Cajun seasoning on them in the bread toaster, that's one of my favorites
