no, a bite from them will cause a nasty rash, Timbers are VERY toxic and will land you in the hospital. Not that I want to be bit by either.
 
Yeah i think i may get one.. i also heard of a story where the guy was chewed and got hardly a rash

I have heard of rumors that FWC have the same venom of timbers..

so im not the only one who heard this.

Bottom, not copperhead. In all honosty i wouldnt really worry if i got bit by a copperhead. I mean sure id worry but.... well you know what i mean
 
okay, I did a little research on it and I did find a few people saying that the timbers and FWC have comparable venom but that the delivery of a FWC is insufficient to cause a serious bite. I don't know the LD50 on them or anything though. I think more research should be done. In any case, by FL state law, they are not considered venomous.
