i got a 6 by 2 by 2 witch is 180 g but ive added an extra 125 leters in a filter i made so it water volume is bigga and gets pelloted less !!! i know i need a bigger tank and im workn on that. i got 2 mono pbass about 30 cm and 2 14cm motoros and a short finnd eel . i got the rays on friday and they r eating prawn and massivore so hell happy :)

I would work on getting a much bigger tank soon. Those rays, if cared for properly will outgrow that tank very quickly.

how long do u think till they grow out?

Could be less than a year before I would consider that tank to be to small for those rays. I have heard some female Motoros can grow really quickly if feed properly. I have heard a female ray at 6" going to 12" in about a year could be expected when cared for properly. I would say a 10" ray would be to big for that tank. So my answer would be less than a year.

Some will likely disagree with me but this is my thought... Lock yourself in your bathroom for a couple years and see how your mental and physical health is after that. These animals need room to swim around, explore to get exercise and be healthy. My personal opinion would be a pair of motoros will need a 500g tank MINIMUM as a final home and very minimal or no tank mates. I would still say that is small. A female motoro could get 36" across and I personally would not put a ray that size in anything with a foot print less than 8'x8'. So basically I personally would not put a pair of Motoros in anything less than a 1000g tank. I know that is a big tank by most peoples standards but it's insignificantly tiny compared to the water volume and space that nature would provide.

Get to building yourself a big *** plywood tank and by the time it's done and cycled, your rays will be ready to go in. :D
