So I have 4 discus that are all pretty good size but I have been wanting more red one's so I found one that was smaller than I wanted but really pretty. He had been holding his own with the other discus and the two motoro's and was eating really good. I have had him for almost two weeks. I was just sitting on the couch and out of the corner of my eye I see one of the stingrays going crazy and this is what I found!:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
Do I just need to buy bigger discus or are my rays going to end up killing everything?

well i am very sorry about your loss :(:(:( also i think a large dicus is what you want but not 100% sure though.

It just really freakin sucks! I am so mad. Does anyone know where you can get bigger discus?

Stingray will kill and eat any fish slow enough for them to catch. Discus are extremely slow. You also have the bare minimum for stingrays for a tank, especially when it's square. I'd suggest having a separate tank for your discus. And go with much fast and a bit bigger fish for the stingray tank if you have anything in there with them

Well I have had the rays and discus together for prob almost a year now and this is the first problem I have had. When tax time gets here I plan on getting a 220 for them but I really don't want to split them up cause they look so good together but i won't keep having them get killed just cause they look good. I have a few friends that have rays and discus without any problems I think the little guy was just too small and slow. Do you know of anywhere that has larger discus? my other one's are prob 5-6 inches.

Thanks that is some good info. I will prob stick with what I have b/c it has worked so far and if I have any more problems I will split them up.
