Some of your FH babys had a fader as one of their parents which passed that fading gene to at least some of their babys. Fader is a FH that fades into it's colors. Usually with no pearling in pure strains. The limited pearling you see is probably from the ZZ or other fish that mixed with the fader to make your babys. In your case it was most probably a Jin Kang that was the "fader" used in the mix. Red Texas is another kind of fader. Your "Fader ZZ" and "Platinum" fry both probably have a fader as a parent.

Doesn't mean it's bad. When mixing two different strains you never know what they're gonna turn out like. Just means likely that's what the fish is going to look like from here on out..
