really weird algae type of growth???

Well, maybe it's those and maybe it's not, but it's a good lead, anyway...

So what kinds of food do you put in the tank? What's the temperature and pH in there? How many hours of light per day and what kelvin and wattage?

There isn't anything in the tank right now so I havent put anykind of food in the tank for the past few weeks but when I did have fish in the tank I fed them shrimp pellets. The tank gets about 6 hours of direct sunlight. I don't normally have the tank light on.

Hmm. I don't know if 81 is too hot for bryozoans or not. Do they look like little feather dusters opening and closing, kind of waving in the current?
