are there any herps that could live in maybe something like a 20L for life that are from high humidity, high moisture environments?
i want to do a terrarium with like moss and live plants and chock it full to the brim with plants. the only problem wuld be the humidity. i know that certain herps can get infections with humidity, and was wondering what to put in it.

Dart frogs?....most terrestrial amphibians?

True fire skink, mt horned dragon maybe? Trying to think of other lizards...

Can't think of many snakes that would fit the bill...

you're mostly looking at amphibians, there aren't many lizards/snakes that will work in a high humidity 20l except maybe a water snake, garter snake or ribbon snake.

garter snake would be cool. or a slamander even. what kinds of plants are safe? do i even need to worry?

i'd try to avoid anything with thorns, try to get plants with similar care requirments and plants that aren't poisonous. pretty much anything from home depot or lowes or wallmart will be ok.

although if you get a poisonous plant the toxins could be absorbed through the skin of the animal or could be drank if the leafs fall in the water.

DO NOT put a gater or ribbon snake in this! Athough these species live by water, they need access to COMPLETELY dry land so as not to get infections in their skin. Not sure about some species of scorpion, as theyre not really my feild, though have a look.

Very true.

This is also true. Snakes subjected to moist conditions tend to develop blister disease on their skin. Deadly if left unchecked.
