really wet herps

i just checked the original post again, if your going to use a 20l and have geckos then you'll need to stand it upright to support their aboreal lifestyle.

i wasn't really into just soaking the hell out of the tank just wet enopught to kepp the plants healthy.
do you think that a 25 would be high enough? if not can you suggest a height or size that would be good.?

That changes everything... what kind of plants you're thinking of keeping? Some do not need that much water as you are making it sound.

just anything not poisonous and will work with the same kinds of conditions that i would need to keep the gecko happy.
(not really familiar but names, but know enough to go out and buy them lol)

most plants don't need soaking wet substrate and you can always do a false bottom.

I know! I was thinking that... most of the houseplants only require between 40 to 60% humidity and many herps can live comfortably in that condition. It is when you go above 70% where plants and animals become specialized.

Beside a web substrate usually lead to root rot anyway.

Just tell us what kind of plants you want and maybe we can help you gauge the needed humidity and the herps to go with them.
