i like the second setup i would just add a few small pieces of decor to the middle to make a smoother transition to the open area

I like the new look too, especially how the rocks support the driftwood structure, it's just the bare gravel on the other side that gets to me.

Perhaps adding rocks and driftwood on the other side to mirror the right side, leaving open space in the middle.

thats what i was going to suggest.
very nice though.

maybe you can move those driftwood and rocks to the center.
so itll be driftwood in the middle and open swimming space on the left and right.
or have another piece of DW on the left as said before.

there's still too much in the tank :grinno:

j/m. I like it either way, but the new way is better to me.

sorry, i loved the before shot. and the fish in the second shot seem to gather over in the right side of the tank-like they dont like the bare left side.

the before shot is alot better. Alot of fish love structure to hide.

hmm i dont know how u guys like the before look really crappy to me almost tacky with the fake plants. as i said before i wanna get rid of the driftwood to give them more swimming room after all isnt that what its all about not whats visually pleasing to us and they do swim in the (deep end) alot its cause i was over thats side so they where looking for food. as for the background welll ive just been lazy been meaning to paint it black for ages

thanks for the feed back!

Before shot looks a bit better , but you need to lose the barra get the bass in the tank and a few green aros to go with the leis untill they outgrow ;)
