I'm sorry about your Betta :(
Your tank looks really nice, great placement!
~ Consider a small group of Anomalochromis thomasi, 2.5-3 inches, beautiful colors, very peaceful dwarf jewels, won't dig up your substrates and do very well in planted tanks. I'm always surprised more pt folks don't keep these little beauties. Maybe its because when most hear its a jewel, they're reminded of their nasty, but gorgeous cousins. They also do really well with Corys. Maybe not so well with shrimp though!

Thank you :) I miss the little guy he was a rescue he didn't have much of a tail fin when I got him but he healed up nicely.those are pretty little fish thanks for the suggestion. Here's some pics of the betta deedler

How do you keep the dirt on the bottom do you use mesh over it?

Awww, poor little guy, handsome coloration too.
These dwarves are much more adaptable than rams and as stunning when in full coloration.

Thanks I will look into them some more and see if they go with discus I think that's what I'm gonna go with when I upgrade or a few bichirs I'm thinking a 120-210 gal
