CAE generally get very agressive as they mature and become highly territorial.. if they've been fine so far in your tank i guess they must be mellow.. i had one 3''er in a 75 that was a total b****, chased everything around

I see,Thanks for the info man....
Yeah this is just temp then they shall be back in the 125 where they will have a bit more room.....I generally have alot of hideing spots in that tank---So they keep seperated from the other for the most part......They do chase a few fish-But I have never seen n e thing serious come of it....

But like stated I appreciate the info Sir

not a problem, and i wasn't preaching either, i have just had bad experinces with them is all

not necissarily deaths but VERY big annoyances... i think the biggest thing mine killed was a 2'' rainbow shark

I take it then that CAE's are famous for sucking on other fish-Or am I wrong in my thinking....
I do have alittle 2.5 to 3 inch one thats kinda a pain---Maybe I should keep a closer eye on this guy....I have noticed from time to time that my gold nugget has some very small white spots that look like it could come from my little CAE----MAybe my thinking is off once again---But now that you say this....It's about the only explination I have for them....

they'll suck things like discus, angels, probably rays and polys too.. but actual chasing and such is more the problem

I am jealous of your loachs AK, can you still get big ones at any given moment? Your very lucky i would do alot for a pack like that!
