reccomended natural plants?

Ive heard that any bichir will tear up live plants, but ive never really seen it in action (limited time with fish so thats probably why)

But any suggestions? Still going to be a while before i can get my fish, as well as a 75+ gallon tank but id thought id ask.

Java fern and java / christmas moss are nice and simple. Just attach to drift wood and rocks.

All my bichir tanks are heavily planted. I've used most varieties that you can get in pet stores. Vals, bolbitis, java fern and moss, anubias, hygrophila, dwarf sag, crypts, rotala, lotus.

i just started using anubias and my 5 inch ornate can't get away from them he like to wiggle himself into the leaves and sit. it almost looks like he's trying to be a leave lol. but the 2 cool things are is that my plants are at the front corners of my tank and he is right there when you walk in it is awesome. the other thing is that since my ornate is constantly in my plants his head is starting to get tinted with a little bit of green.

I recently picked up a betta (i know there not monster fish, but damn if he isnt pretty) and ive got i believe a Java fern in his 2 gallon and he loves it. Little guy is swimming all over, chilling in his plant and flaring his fins. Im hoping he'll build a bubble nest for me :3

Thought this would help me learn the art of water balance with PH and water testing before i get my monsters

I can't seem to keep live plants with my fish. It's either the Polys, Dats, or BGK that's tearing them up. I've tried Anubias, Hornwort, and Anacharis
