oh they are.. but they heal fairly quickly... i was thinking of adding some dithers to add more motion in my tank and get them distracted a bit.. something cheap like the common SD... i got 5 SD right now but they're snack size.. lol...

Large Bala's might be a better choice? They grow fast and are always moving.

it would be pretty nice... but the main problem is--> will it work..???!??!? so cheap SD is the trial version and if it does work then i might get the bigger once like the red hooks or the wide bar SD... i'm still concern about the aggression.. and when the big tank gets here... a trial with jardini in the tank.. hahaha.. really doubt that part will work but i'll do it for a couple of hrs.. and just keep observing it for a day.. see how it turns out.. dont want any ornamental fish to get killed....

i had bala before.. they ddin't really grow that fast with me.. but its tooo slender.. even if its longer its still gonna be slimmer.. so easier prey for either the pbass, armatus, datnoid or the my bichir in the tank..
 
i have 2 from the last IA batch. they are about the same size as yours :D
 
i'm about to order 4 wide bar SD... they should grow about 10" so they be good dithers.. and 2 more pbass later.. more likely the kels.. the should put my stock at 4 armi, 4 pbass., 4 IT dats, 4 polys and 4 SD sillver dollars with 5 reg silver dollars.. hope dey'll do fine in a 400 g.. sounds overstock to me but i hope it works.. hahaah
