Thats a neat contraption its a tripod that holds the rods? If you were to walk away and you hooked a fish would it hold the rod in place ?

yes its got for legs and is called a pod you have bite alarms on the front and rod rests on the back and it holds 3 rods.but really you need baitrunner reels which let off line when a fish takes the bait so you can walk away but you could miss a bite.
