i have been censored by mods several times and i can honestly say it was probably the right thing to do and about damn time:ROFL::ROFL:.......... in my mind those posts were borderline anyways..... hell most my posts are borderline....... im not on MFK to make friends and seldom bite my tongue in my personal or professional life....... but i do like to make people smile with my unique sense of humor...... as for what content is appropriate for MFK that is a very subjective subject....... on what/who's scale do you base it on......??? imo usually those who are offended by borderline subject matter probably shouldnt be able to go online without supervision anyways...... or should do a better job preventing innocent onlookers.......

the internet ego is a subject that i must address....... many times I have noticed a underline tension between members or staff…… Usually it’s a result of a “perceived” power struggle by 1 or several individuals…… I myself have gotten caught up into these keyboard wars…… but when i really take a objective view…. It is quite ridiculous… People develop a false sense of importance online….. and will fight tooth n nail to defend a reputation that really only exists in their minds…… who we are is not determined by what fish we keep… the quality of our pictures…. Whos on our buddies lists….Or our ability to give advice…. it is determined by what our “friends” say about us when we are not around….. they are the judge n jury….. anything other than that is self ego stroking….

I dont buy the whole,"Well it iis a fish keeping forum" argument. Im a member of several different forums both fish keeping related and not fish keeping related and their lounges are not nearly as censored. I do see it reasonable to censor stuff not suitable for minors, violent threats, drugs, sex, ect but other then that I dont think things should be censored because peoples feelings are getting hurt.

Sadly most of the PMs Ive been getting lately are from the auto-bot! lol

Did I ever say I didnt like the place? :confused: I'm sorry I don't like to suck up to the powers that be as you.

In my three years here many people know me and know that I do enjoy this site, yet I'm also not afraid to put in my two cents with no hurt feelings at the end of the day. :screwy:
