You're reading in the 7s for PH, but your tap was high 8s right? By simply running this "particulate" filter it knocks the PH down that much? Or are you mixing RO/Tap to get a lower reading of TDS then the particulate filter just helps maintain?

Looks like things have really turned around. Congrats. Hope you decide to share some keys to your success......
