hard to judge size for me, but i would say the male(darker one) is 11 - 12 inches. the female is 14-15 maybe.........but those would be guesses. i need to take db's advice and throw a frisbee into the tank

You know, once something is left in your possession for 6 months or more, you can claim ownership.
That is one of the benefits of having tile in the bottom, you can get fairly accurate sizes estimates.
