Recent winter Piking

Havent had much time out this year with a 1 year old at home… wife knows i need pike slime to keep me sane tho … hoping to find a meter+ before ice up. All fish are taken on my own hand made lures and sent back after some quick pics. CreekPikerLures@instagram

I had the opportunity to eat a fresh on in northern Minnesota many many moons ago
it was SO good!

I imagine it would be a cool fish to raise in an aquarium

Nice catches and great lures!! I’ve only caught one pike before… a 17 pounder, fought like the devil. It was pretty good eating.

Thank you … not sure, id guess only around 10lbs… quick vid for stills and i send em back home. My largest is 45”+… if they dont beat that, i rarely even measure lol…
