My friend has two enclosures that he built for his Panther Chameleons about 30"x30"x72"(LxWxH). He just lost one of his Panthers mysteriously(was fine and eating one day, dead the next:nilly: ) and is possibly looking to replace it with something different. Any recommendations for a screen enclosure of this size?

Sorry, should have been more specific, looking for low maintenance REPTILES that would be suitable for such an enclosure. I would try to get him to get some Frilled Dragons if he would consider expanding the length a few feet, but he won't:irked: .

i mean if he wanted too... even though they are bearded Dragons, go for one of the sunfire morphs. they look stunning.

I don't think the length of the cage is ideal for beardies, the width is O.K. and obviously the height is good lol. Maybe something a little less common?!

Any pics of the cage? For some reason i cant get good ideas of size with measurements.

Are there any cage items left over to use?

I have something in mind, but it might not work depending on what he has left over.

No pics, but basically up-end an AGA 210 gallon aquarium and that's what you've got (all screen though, no glass). He has lots of fake bendable vines some live Pathos plants and Mercury Vapor UV bulbs.

Ok thats a nice size cage! I don't know about the screen cage, but a cage of those dimensions could be great for some mountain horned dragons...

Dont quote me on this though... I know almost nothing about these guys. From my guess, they probably need huge humidity requirements. But since your friend had a cham, he probably has some sort of mister right? And can the cage hold substrate? How big is the floor space?

Those are a very good suggestion, one that I actually already had in mind lol. The floor space is about 30"x30" and could be made to hold substrate. He does have a mister but I think they humidity requirements of the dragons might be a little higher than the panthers, so he might have to do some alterations on the enclosure. Keep the ideas coming!!
