Recommendation Tire track eel with injured eye

My tire track has been trough alot over the years of owning it-

Salt will be just fine-So will mela or pimafix....

But I dont recommend them for this treatment-
Water changes is all that should be needed to cure this guy...

What are your water params.

Well he was in a 150g tank water params as follows, 82 degrees pH at 6.8 to neutral, ammonia and ntrite zero with nitrates being in the15 to 20ppm range after W/C and 30 to 40 ppm before weekly 50% W/C.

Has been moved to a 55g tank with 35g of water, 25g of water came with from the 150g. Added 10g of new water treated with prime. After 2 days and one 30%(10g) W/C the second eye has become cloudy.

it some form of infection then i would use meds can't remember any good ones of the top of my head someone should

No change in condition to report. Treatment has been daily W/Cs with melafix dose afterwards.

i would use meds it looks like its eye cloud and for sure add salt
