I have been running a Nano for 18 months now and realised the limitations of this setup.

I am in the process of setting up something a little larger. 31"Lx14"Wx18"H.

I plan to have a light coral stocking. Easy stuff. What is the recomended max lenght of fish I can keep in it.

Thanks

In general for salt it is about 1 inch of fish per 3-4 gallons, but that really is just a general rule as it all depends on tank profile. Tanks with a greater water air surface area can accommodate more as oxygen can diffuse faster and one with a smaller area can hold less as oxygen diffuses slower.

It also depends on the fish you keep, you can keep more inches of long slender fish then full bodied fish, also some fish put out more waste such as eels.

I currently will be moving a Yellow watchman, Candy Basslet, Perc Clown, two yellow tail Damsels. Plus a Number of hermits and a cleaner shrimp. Is there much room for anything else?

I would say that is all you can do, that might even be pushing it. Unfortunately all those tanks you see on tv and stuff that have a million fish swimming around a wicked over stocked. I would introduce them slowly and keep an eye on your parameters.

depend's on the fish your looking to get and there adult size they generally need 4-5 gallon's per 1 inch of fish.
