Record green terror caught in Australia

Haha,I was trying to word my post as clearly as possible and that is what I came up with.Anyhow,I wasn't previously aware that there were Green Terror cichlids swimming around in Australian waters and now knowing there are I assume that they were illegally released there at some point.I wonder how far back the generations of wild offspring goes?
 
Oath mate that would be interesting to know.. for them to have grown so big one would assume they have been in that river system for a looong time. I hope the university that found him kept him

Cheers mate. I got a few tanks running atm. Nah man ive never caught an ornamental fish. That would be sweet though.

There you are with a tank of GT's in Australia and here I am all the way in the U.S. with a Murray Cod fingerling!

Haha krikey mate i hope you have a ridiculously oversized tank aha. There is one at my local (TYSON) that is pushing 3.5ft and is like a tree trunk bro!
