The original posts fish looks more like a geo brasiliensis to me?

I think you may be correct, Justin. Possibly even a feral hybrid of sorts. The photo is so pixelated I can't tell exactly what he is holding in that photo. A Brasiliensis would make more sense. I guess no further documentation is available?
