You have said parameterS normal and then in next post said only ammonia?

I would check Nitrate and Nitrite, In my opinion all ray keepers should have a Nitrate test kit as their best friend, I would assume that if you are not testing for it you may have a big problem....it could be 50ppm straight out of your tap therefore the tank could be far worse.

Test the tap and the tank.

I hate to say it but I guess the Ray will be dead soon as the Retics seems to be the most sensitive to water quality.

just testd nitrate levels, its 50 mg/l how do i get my levels down a bit??

Test the tap water, if the tap water is lower then it is a simple case of regular twice weekly water changes to dilute the problem.

The good news is that your filter is working correctly.

If the water out the tap is above or similar to 50ppm then you need to look at nitrate reduction techniques such as ion exchange resins or algae scrubbers.

Let us know what the tap water is like and then report back

just tested the tap water, its around the 10 mg/1,wat does this mean in terms what i have to do now?
