Algae eaters aren’t always the best solution as they just add to the bioload and many aren’t very efficient cleaners.
Here are pics of the 2 tanks. Like I said the one the whole front is coated.

To rule out cyano, you can try chemiclean. Just remove as much as you can and dose as per the instructions. It completely wiped out the cyano in my tank after 2 doses. If all the algae dies, it was cyano.
It does look more like diatoms on the glass though, which is really just manual removal to keep it down. Diatoms are their own kind of algae, and are not cyano. Upping water changes helps to combat it.

If it will grow on rocks, and has to be removed with a razor blade, and likes moving water Its Red beard algea. Rydophlyite Icantremeberius, lol.

I have done the chemiclean 4 times. Still comes back. Ill have to find a scrubby thing and something that eats the stuff to battle it then.

If chemiclean did nothing then I seriously doubt it’s cyano. Try increasing water changes.
One thing I did was get a tank for breeding scuds - they are the best algae eater alive! All you have to do is put affected decorations in their tank for a few days and watch as all the algae disappears. This could work for the glass, except the fish will eat them.
For the glass get an algae magnet, makes cleaning algae take 30 seconds.

Decrease lighting period, feed less food and do more water changes.
It looks like a serious diatom bloom would may suggest an immature system.

Do the above for 3-4 weeks and it should be cleared or start to clear. Using a chemical fix does not solve the root cause of the issue.
