  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It will be a cool hybrid! BUT to make sure that not all the fry get eaten you can seperate about half and grow them yourself.

As soon as you can. but they are very sensative to water perimeters when they are that small so its better to seperate them in the same tank as the parents.

When you start to see 2 black dots or a black line in the eggs, they should hatch within 18 hours.

When the fry are free swimming, which will be 6-8 days after they hatch, I would syphon 50% out and place them in a 30G growout.

Well if you want to make sure none other die, cover the tank in complete darkness for about 1-2 hours and then use just enough light to tell the eggs apart from dead and alive then get some fine tweezers and just pull off the dead eggs.

Dead eggs promote fungus to other eggs in thier vicinity.

ok here is the situation. There are about thirty white eggs now and spreading to the other eggs.how long before eggs hatch?they should be close to hatching?wouldn't they all have turned white if they were not going to hatch?should we attempt to pluck out all the white eggs?Or do you think they will hatch today?I think my hand would get pecked apart not to mention the stress it must cause them.

Yes you should take out the white eggs if you don't want the other eggs to get fungus. do you see any "black dots"(eyes) on the other eggs..????
