they have some that are 7-8 inches that have been there for a year. they are selling them for $30 each. is this a good price? there are not many places that sell them around me.

same at my petsmart. they have two that have been there for about 5 months.

guess people don't go to petsmart for $30 fish. If you have room for them, talk to the manager about how long he's had them in stock, maybe you can get a discount because they're not selling.

just remember, they get alot bigger than the 8" the sign at petsmart says.

My Petsmart ended up clearing them out at $15. My guess would be you could work a good deal.

mine had them on sale for $15 but i missed ym chance to grab one damn ohh we'll know there getting rid of them there all gone at the one closeist to me but there still around since there going to stop selling them you should ask if you can give it a good home for cheaper $30 isn't to bad either way

They are replacing pike cichlids with Nics wounder whats gonna replace snooks ?

I visited two stores here in SOCAL and they're selling it for $15.00 (7-8 inches). They also have a few nicaraguense right now.

the ones in chicago r alittle cheaper i think, but yet they're not 7-8 inches either, probe bout 4 or 5 inches..

Got mine here for $10 at 5-6". He was growing too large for the tank, and the store manager knew I wanted him. So he told my wife (a fellow manager of his ;)) I could have it for that. Just talk to a manager and tell them you know they've been there for a while and you're very interested. Just don't forget the possible 1.5' they can attain.
