When talking about aquarium sizes in gallons, US gallons are the standard.

Your 48x24x24 is a standard 120G (US), and the 72x18x18 is a standard 100G long (US).

Yes i know we all talk in US Gal is a stanard , thats why i said 100Gal at first thinking it was the US Gal but now looking back at the results now i see it's 120Gal . Sorry .

So would 6 be the most i could fit i the tank without me having to move them out later on in life ?

Because i have no room to get a bigger tank after i get my 240Gal , but then when i do get my 240Gal when the extension is done on the house there will be no room in that tank to put the RBP's as i would be over stocked , as if you look at my Sig' that are the fish i am putting in the 240Gal tank .

And i wont be able to have any other fish in there too ?

I wouldn't do an even number. So either 5 or 7

Any other fish can be a snack for your Piranha's.

Could i put some RBP in a 240Gal tank along with a Oscar , Common Pleco and a Giant Red Tail Gourami ?

If so how many RBP ?

While all those live together in the wild, the Piranha's will sooner or later kill them in a tank.

So what you are saying is dont mix them with my other fish in the 240Gal , but it will be ok to put some in the 120Gal on there own .
