Red belly or Pacu?

Try the goldfish test... Get a goldfish the size of your piranha (yes, its a red belly..) and see what happens.. An RBP will shred it to bits in about 10 min.. but not the pacu.. they can't kill a fish as big as themselves easily.. and sometimes not at all... I know, I tried... Anyway, its a good specimen.

i got a pacu once that loves goldfish and other fishes.

dont know why but he loves to eat anything

You can tell by the lower Jaw, its an RBP " CHOMP"

You could tell the difference between the two just by looking at their mouths. both the pacu and the pirahna can be equaly agessive depending on the owner. I started feeding pellets to my pirahnas and they loved it but this was because i had them since they were little.
