yeah......... people can be very odd.

i always told this friend about my fish (he thought i was alittle crazy)

well this friend got me sooooooo angry with him.......

luckily i just got over it (i still feel sorry for the bgk)
i also don't know how it is still living since my friend does a water change at least every month

Not as bad as the reason i was sacked from my lfs when i was 16, i got really angry with my boss beause he sold a 6" gold severum a real beast it was an 8" banded leporinus 2 black ghost knifes 6" and a 5" megalodoras irwini to someone who two weeks before bought a 60ltr tank and stand all those fish were doomed and i got pissed at him and he sacked me but it was worth it to have my say and not have to see such cruelness again.
While i was there they also sold 2 motoro stingrays about 12" disc to someone with a 35G and an 18" perruno catfish to someone with a 55G man it still makes me angry.

yeah my dad once said, "Man i wish i had a zapper so i could zap that "bleep" into another universe". he said this while driving

i wish i had one of those "zappers" so i could sit in petsmart or petco and zap everyone that wants to buy a pacu (or other fish that gets big) to keep in their 30 gallons or less tanks for life.

now that would be cool

nicely tell your buddy to login to MFK. theres several people, including myself, that could show him the potential of a red belly pacu. and i by far, dont have the largest 2 pacu on MFK.

maybe seeing some ACTUAL members, and real people that keep these guys, and are the size of a SMALL CAT, he may realize he either needs a REAL big tank in the future, or its time to give up the pacu.

worse comes to worse.....remind him pacu are nicknamed TANKBUSTERS. and ask him if him or his parents will be happy when, not if, a big pacu breaks through a 5 or 55g tank and spills water, glass and substrate all over the house. scare tactics work great sometimes, even tho its the truth with these bad boys

I'd be willing to share some pics, too. I have a couple big ones. However, there are much larger than mine on here, too. You can try the scare tactics, but to be honest, I don't think he will grasp that reality until it happens.
